Born in NY in 1965, grown up between Hollywood e Ojai(California), is a famous photographer and Bob Richardson's son. He falls in love with photography after a musical period with the punk-rock band " The invisible" of 5 years. He start his work at the side of Tony Kent.

His pics are criticized because of the contraventions in them: he works for the advertising of Gucci, Levi's, Miu Miu, Hugo Boss, Anna Molinari, Costume National, Tom Ford, Tommy Hilfiger and, most of all, Sisley.

He works with celebrities like Kate Moss, Sharon Stone,Leonardo DiCaprio, P!nk, Amy Winehouse, Marc Jacobs, Nicolas Cage, Lenny Kravitz, Karl Lagerfeld, Jessica Alba, Jared Leto, Lady GaGa and Britney Spears.

In 2010 he's the ph. of Calendario Pirelli; for the occasion he chooses the location of Bahia, Brazil. In the same year he takes part of 30 Seconds to Mars's vid "Hurricane".

Richardson's photographs are noted for their controversial, graphic sexual subject matter.
